Bye bye England, hallo Deutschland!

Hello parents- we have safely made it to our destination of Bad Salzig! It was a long, warm day of travelling. The ferry crossing was smooth and thankfully 100% vomit-free! 😊 We managed to get some nice photos of the cliffs of Dover and a particularly impressive sunrise. After having stayed up all the way to Dover, our lovely students finally gave us a bit of peace and quiet after getting back on the coach. All in all, we are a slightly bleary eyed bunch of travellers, though spirits are high. Having finally arrived just after 5pm German time, we had a bit of time to settle in our rooms, and then we took a leisurely, sun-soaked stroll along the banks of the Rhein. Dinner is now over and done with, students are chilling out for the evening and, fingers crossed, will get a nice long rest tonight – hope springs eternal! We will be posting another update tomorrow evening, so don’t forget to check in!

Parents’ Information Evening

Don’t forget, the parents’ information evening for our upcoming German trip to the Rhineland will take place on Wednesday 27th June at 5pm in the Drama studio.

It’s an opportunity for you to come along and find out more information about what we will be doing during our time there, and for you to ask any burning questions you may have.

Students are encouraged to attend too 🙂

We look forward to seeing you all there!
